It is indeed doubled check, and one of the checks is discovered, but teh king can escape to the nasty e6 square from where it will help the coming checkmate on h8 Wink

Only just got round to watching this awesome lecture, @ 18:19 isn't Nc3+!! DOUBLE-DISCOVERED CHECK winning the knight because the e5 pawn stops Kd4, or am I missing a crucial component? Ah just spotted a slight checkmate problem with that lol, brilliant game and lesson though!! Smile

I do support you with that proposal, Dejan. By the way, now it says that your video is done my GM Gregory Kaidanov. It seems to be linked to the most recent video on the site which could suggest that is was not the intern but a programmer who messed up. Good news for you Dejan, programmers tend to get more lunch money than interns. : )

Or, they can also send lunch money for the original author to apologize for teh inconvenience Wink

In the video overview http://www.chess.com/videos for me it says that this video is done by GM Ben Finegold. Sooks like the chess.com intern in charge messed up and I'd support to cut-down his lunch money for a week so to remind him that attention to details is vital in the corporate world. Cool

Great demonstration of how a player can crush his opponent by obtaining a small positional advantage.
