Danny you seem to always go for the crafty, unnecessary move after you have a good posish and it ends up dragging you down. You got a good game in both games in the middlegame, just keep it simple. Grind that mug down! Do you do the same thing in serious OTB games? I'm nowhere near as good as you, but maybe that's holding you back from the next level.
Agree....I think those crafty moves beat weaker players and this guy was too strong. Been there, done that.
The "bishop-on-c4-vote-for-me" joke was just sooooo funny. Danny's great.
Bf3 jumped at me too.
I'll never be able to play as well as you but I can learn to loose with dignity as you did here. Thanks for that chess lesson, the one I needed most. Double exclam!!
UR SO FUNNY i think u should be black on the first game and white on the second
Fun video. Thanks!
Thanks Danny..... Very insightful
Looks like the 'displaying of time' issues have been solved...Great Job.
Love the outloud calculations, wish I could keep up...
Thanks Danny, that was one of the best videos of yours! Thats how exactly how someone feels, when he is loosing. This is really an aspiration to the people who start loosing and scared to play anticipating one more loss! That was very nice of you. God bless you.Keep it up.
The existence of this live sessions made my week. I've been waiting for one of these for so long. Thanks for making it great as always, Danny!
This is one of your best videos danny.
very intructive on how not to play black.
A nice surprise to see a live sessions vid this weekend against a GM!
HI, people always show their best games they won, but we are humans. It's nice to see that it is not always the case 8-)
We learn more with defeats than with victories.
Thanks to you.
Danny - really appreciate you finally putting out another live sessions video! It was very instructive and entertaining and especially nice considering you played 2 games.
Also, thanks for sharing the Buddhist philosophy from Kung Fu Panda lol
Thanks for fixing the board IM Rensch! I'm definitely going to watch again.
Really enjoy the way you "think out loud" and your pre-move error reassures us patzers that even great players make mistakes. Great video! One of your best!
33:15...can't ...Qb4 be met by Bxd5 winning on the spot?
IM Daniel Rensch által
A little something for everyone in this Live Session with IM Danny Rensch. We've got his ubiquitous GEICO gecko voice, a Phoenix Suns reference, the Karate Kid, a pre-move error, and to top it all off, an anonymous GM. Danny isn't quite sure who it could be. So watch and see his toughest-ever live session. Listen carefully and maybe you can solve the mystery as well as learn some chess!
